  • North Canyon Road to Marlette Lake (5 mi one way) Most popular backcountry route; a hiker and horse trail parallels the road for four miles
  • Marlette Flume Trail (4.4 mi) Historic flume route, reached from North Canyon or the steeper Tunnel Creek Road
  • Tahoe Rim Trail (13 mi) 13 of its 165 miles run through the park; closed to bikes from Hobart Road to Spooner Summit

  • Historic site Marlette Lake Water System 1870s water system of flumes and pipelines built to supply the Comstock; NRHP-listed and still in use
