National Wildlife Refuges in Florida
Florida has 28 national wildlife refuges, all run by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. 8 are closed to the public. 1 is free to enter. Camping is allowed on 1: Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.
Each refuge sets its own closures and fire rules. Each refuge's page lists the fire restriction orders and closures on record for it, from the refuge's own fws.gov alerts, re-checked every six hours.
