National Wildlife Refuges in Missouri

Missouri has 10 national wildlife refuges, all run by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: Big Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge, Great River National Wildlife Refuge, Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge, Marais Des Cygnes National Wildlife Refuge, Middle Mississippi River National Wildlife Refuge, Mingo National Wildlife Refuge, Ozark Cavefish National Wildlife Refuge, Pilot Knob National Wildlife Refuge, and Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge. 3 are closed to the public.

Each refuge sets its own closures and fire rules. Each refuge's page lists the fire restriction orders and closures on record for it, from the refuge's own fws.gov alerts, re-checked every six hours.
