National Wildlife Refuges in New Mexico

New Mexico has 8 national wildlife refuges, all run by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, Grulla National Wildlife Refuge, Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge, Maxwell National Wildlife Refuge, San Andres National Wildlife Refuge, Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge, and Valle De Oro National Wildlife Refuge. 1 is closed to the public. 1 is free to enter.

Each refuge sets its own closures and fire rules. Each refuge's page lists the fire restriction orders and closures on record for it, from the refuge's own fws.gov alerts, re-checked every six hours. Hunting and fishing seasons and limits are the refuge regulation's and Nevada's: each page links them, and none are restated here.
