National Parks in South Dakota
South Dakota has 5 National Park Service units: Badlands National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, Minuteman Missile National Historic Site, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, and Wind Cave National Park. 2 are national parks; the rest are other National Park System units, run by the same agency. 1 charges an entrance fee (from $30 per vehicle); 4 are free to enter. 1 has developed campgrounds.
Every park unit here sets its own fire rules and closures. Each unit's page lists the fire restriction orders and closures on record for it, from the park's own alerts, re-checked every six hours.
