National Parks in Maine
Maine has 4 National Park Service units: Acadia National Park, Appalachian National Scenic Trail, Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, and Saint Croix Island International Historic Site. 1 is a national park; the rest are other National Park System units, run by the same agency. 1 charges an entrance fee (from $35 per vehicle); 3 are free to enter.
Every park unit here sets its own fire rules and closures. Each unit's page lists the fire restriction orders and closures on record for it, from the park's own alerts, re-checked every six hours.
